I painted a portrait of a little girl, Corinne, a couple months ago. Her mom Diana wrote me a few weeks later to tell me that their beloved dog, Chicle, had passed away, and requested a portrait to remember her by. I always feel like you can see a dog’s personality in their eyes, and Chicle has very expressive eyes. It isn’t hard to tell he was a dog with a lot of personality.
